Noshing Around

Hey Everybody…so a crazy two weeks since we launched Nosh, and it’s been awesome. We had great coverage in TechCrunch, Lifehacker, Mashable and GigaOm just to name a few. We’ve also met and welcomed thousands of new Noshers and have had Noshes from as far away as Korea and as local as the Google Cafes. We’re really psyched to have Nosh launched on both iPhones and Android phones and are working to extend full Noshing experiences to the web (stay tuned). On that note, we’re also working on letting users Nosh from home or a friend’s house (one of our top feedback requests), so you can share what you’ve had wherever you have it! Will be rolling these features out shortly, and many more.

Other great things since launch…we’ve discovered a true genius with the video camera in our UX Guru, Alex Cornell. His Nosh Launch video and his latest 404 Page video have received rave reviews and are some of the coolest I’ve seen in my life. Awesome to have that type of talent on the team!

Lastly, our users have been amazing. I’ve seen tons of amazing Noshes in the past few days, from breakfast to beer, it’s been great to see people rating, reviewing and sharing all their good and bad meals. It really is all about the user as each one makes the service that much better for the next.

My favorite so far is this delicious looking cupcake by Fenchurch. This newly featured user came charging out of the gates immediately with some amazing photos and great coverage of the Bay Area. See below…so excellent:

These have been so great actually, that we’re sending Fenchurch a new Google Nexus One Android Phone.

Keep up the great Noshing and look out for more random gifts to great efforts!

Best, Craig (nosh.me/cwalker123)
